Properly Managing Appeals and Call-to-Actions

Few things are as frustrating to a marketing professional's sense a proper campaign or call-to-action than an incomplete follow-through. I received an email this morning from a non-profit calling for donations to a Pakistan relief fund, with proceeds directed to education, equipment, and other needs to the thousands of victims of the floods in Pakistan. The message even clearly explained - in big bold letters - that the organization would match 100% of any donation up to $50,000. That's pretty impressive and definitely called for a sense of urgency and appropriate importance to the dire conditions in Pakistan.
